I'm leaving Substack
This is just a quickie to let those remaining Substack subscribers know that I’ve decided to leave the platform.
I don’t know what’s been happening here in the greater scheme of things, and I don’t really have the time to look into it all in detail. Know, though, that this isn’t necessarily the reason I’m jumping ship, although it has perhaps brought forward something I was probably going to do anyway.
The main reason I’m going is because I’m streamlining my writing business and Substack doesn’t really fit in with the new business model. Going forward, it will simply be an additional chore on top of everything else I already do.
I’m also keeping the aspects of my business that add value, and what little value Substack adds isn’t sufficient to justify keeping the platform going.
If you haven’t already joined my regular newsletter, please consider doing so. Not only will you get a free short story every issue, but you’ll also be able to access my quarterly magazine Words Worth Reading at no cost.
The link to join my newsletter is here. If you have already subscribed, there is no need to subscribe again.
Alternatively, you can also follow my blog here and subscribe to that if you wish.
I’ll be including Diary of a Scaredy Cat in a future issue of Words Worth Reading.
Thanks to everyone who has followed and subscribed to me here on Substack. I look forward to seeing you again on the blog or in reply to any of the newsletters.
